This wool is naturally a gray/brown natural color from our Bluefaced Leicester/Dorset Crosses. It is dyed over the gray/brown color to get these beautiful, deep colors.
 
All of my hand dyed wool is grown by the sheep on our farm. We do small batches from 10 to 50 pounds of raw wool that is processed locally at Zeilinger Wool 60 miles from our doorstep. The wool is crosses of several breeds, including Bluefaced Leicester, Dorset, and Romney. Dyed with professional acid dyesCare: Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. Keep out of direct sunlight.
